Some weapons in Rising Storm 2 are equipped with retractable or collapsible stocks, or in some cases do not come with any stock at all. Weapons with stocks retracted or removed have off-set iron sights such that your point of aim is moved to the left of where the gun is pointing. The added effect greatly decreased ADS time and 40% faster speed while aiming down the sights compared to other weapons.

Weapons that can fold the stock or do not have a stock include the M3A1 Grease Gun, Type 56-1, MAT 49, Sawn-Off Shotgun, Stakeout, and the XM177E1.
