History
The PPSh-41 was a Soviet designed submachine gun used heavily in WWII. Many WWII surplus PPSh-41s as well as Chinese Type 50 clones were supplied to the Viet Minh and later the PAVN and NLF. Many Type 50s were converted into K-50M models by the Vietnamese. The K-50M shortened the barrel jacket and affixed the sight directly to the barrel, and replaced the stock with a pistol grip and retractable butt stock modelled after the Mat-49's.
