Bipods

Bipods are LMG attachments that allow them to rest their weapon on any horizontally-oriented piece of cover. Similar to resting, setting up the bipod can be done on the ground, windowsils, sandbags, etc. While using the bipod, recoil and sway are greatly reduced, far more than when resting the weapon, making it easy to control a weapon even in full-auto.

Bipods also lock the player in place and have a limited range of motion, sometimes causing the player to be stuck for a split second and allowing the enemy to shoot them. To avoid this, players can fold the bipod of their weapon out of the way and instead rest their weapon against cover instead of setting up the bipod when it might not be advantageous to do so.
