Jungle Camp
A United States Army patrol discovers a secret Viet Cong camp hidden in the jungles of Kon Tum provenance. The US patrol conducts a search and destroy.
History
Throughout the Vietnam War, many soldiers of the Southern Forces would go on patrols, scouting out for communist forces that could be lurking among the land, often times the local populace. The National Liberation Front was known for hiding among the locals and camped out in the deep jungles away from the eyes of the South Vietnam forces. Not only did they hid themselves, but they also hid a storage of weapons and supplies in hope to aid any North Vietnam operations. The US soldiers would seek out these secret camps and conduct search and destroy missions.
